First Grade is very different from preschool or kindergarten. There is no rest time. Students will have 20 minutes recess time daily, fruit or vegetable snacks provided by the school, to promote healthy eaters.
The learning material will be focused on the following: writing letters and words, reading, counting, identifying colors and shapes. They will be able to check-out a book from the library weekly.
